    Superb

The sheer luxury of the apartment was second to none. My elderly mother was able to join us so the second bedroom and bathroom was very suitable for her. The apartment had a superb outlook and we have vowed to return for a longer period of time!

The enormous 8m x 5m undercover deck with views of the ocean.

We had trouble finding the place ... we thought we were staying at Waterfront Apartments but it was actually Peppers Resort.

We booked in at Pier One Apartments of Waterfront Apartments. On arrival we were told of our upgrade to Waterfront Pier Apartments (bit confusing) as our room had been recently painted. Waterfront Pier Apartments were part of the Peppers Resort & the room was fabulous. Beautifully furnished, great balcony, plenty of space. Fabulous view. However, Pier One Apartments looked very nice as well so would certainly consider there again.

There was some confusion when we had lunch at the Bayside Restaurant. We charged to our room. Peppers did not take our payment for this, neither would Waterfront Apartments. We went back to Bayside Restaurant to pay. If we hadn't already planned to have something to eat there, this would have been a nuisance. Anyway, it all turned out okay.

Fantastic location, our appartment was front row, right on the Esplanade, overlooking the sea, and with fabulous views. It was very spacious, well set out, and clean. Couldn't fault it actually!

It was a long walk from the reception desk to our room, and not easy to get to the street or bar without this very long walk, effectively doubling back, but I'm being rather petty with that complaint!

    Very good

Our stay was great and most of the staff were lovely.

One staff member wasn't too pleased about us asking to leave our luggage for the day.

Wonderful location and spacious apartment with excellent amenities

the midnight fire drill - unavoidable but quite annoying - perhaps free coffee next time?

Personal touch by Peter and his wife. Good information about the facilities.

The airconditioner was not cool enough in spite of setting the temp at 19 deg C

The situation - the apartment faced the sea. The bed was comfortatable, with enough pillows ! The convenience of a dishwasher, tumble dryer and dishwasher - it was extremely well equipped and spacious.

it was in a good position close to the beach, the area was very quiet, rooms very comfi

unit 2 was set behind the cafe and next to the front entrance,so when you sat outside the was no privacy.

We were re-directed on check in around the corner to Peppers Resort. The room was pleasant and had a nice little balcony overlooking the sea. It went down-hill from there.

There was no information pack about the hotel, the area, places to eat etc, and no phone in the room. We went to reception to enquire about local information, breakfast etc. The reception staff were rude and dismissive. We weren’t staying with them, they didn’t want to speak to us. No information was forthcoming and we wondered what was going on. Went to book for dinner at Peppers – all booked up. We were told to came back after 8pm, they may be able to fit us in. We came back at 8pm. The place was full. We couldn’t even get a meal sent up to our room as we weren’t staying with them. So there we were on a Saturday night standing out in the street at 8:15 with no idea where to go. We had enough by this stage and rang Peter who was rude and patronising. I tried to ask question re above to be interrupted with “let me explain something to you” in the tone of voice used for a child or someone with intellectual impairment. Told us that none of these issues concerned him and that we had to fend for ourselves. I got mad and told him what I thought of his lack of customer service. I asked about what we do about our continental breakfast. According to Peter the continental breakfast supplied was the small box of cereal left in the room along with re-constituted pulp juice and long-life milk. This is NOT a continental breakfast. A continental breakfast is a choice or selection of croissants, pancakes or toast, served with butter and jams. There should also be ‘fresh’ juice, and some selection of fruits. This establishment advertises itself as having an ‘unofficial’ rating of five stars. That is grossly misleading.
